March 9, 2010 - Nancy Harrigan - Assistant Vice President

Nancy Harrigan is currently assigned to the main office in Scotia and will assist in the daily management of the office. In her new position, she looks forward to “providing customers with a sense of confidence that 1st National offers a safe and secure option for their financial needs.” Nancy was formerly employed with Bank of America and has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, including 16 years in the Human Resources field. She started her banking career in a community bank and is “looking forward to returning to a community bank with a focus on the customer and superior service.”
In addition to her business commitments, Nancy Harrigan is an active member of Our Lady of Assumption Church in Rotterdam and also volunteers with the Ronald McDonald house in Albany and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Nancy currently resides with her family in Schenectady.
March 1, 2010 - Donna M. Anscombe - Assistant Vice President

Ms. Anscombe has been part of the 1st National team for 30 years, and currently serves as Branch Operations Officer of the Niskayuna Office. She began her career as a teller and has worked her way through the Retail Banking department serving as teller supervisor, customer service associate and Branch Operations Specialist. In her new position, Ms. Anscombe will also manage the GE Global Research office. She enjoys working at 1st National because “we are a true community bank, which allows us to offer personalized service to our customers.”
In addition to her business commitments, Ms. Anscombe is a member of Schenectady Business and Professional Women. In her free time, she is a competitive roller dance skater and enjoys traveling. Ms. Anscombe currently resides in Schenectady.

March 1, 2010 - Sandra L. Collins - Assistant Vice President

Mrs. Collins began her career at 1st National Bank of Scotia 35 years ago as a teller, and went on to complete the bank’s management training program. She currently is an officer in the Human Resources Department. After 30 years in the retail area, Mrs. Collins attained her Professional Human Resources Certification and currently is in charge of hiring and training.
In addition to her business commitments, Mrs. Collins participates in Sweet Adelines with the River Valley Chorus. Mrs. Collins currently resides with her husband in Rotterdam.

March 1, 2010 - Amy E. Belli - Assistant Vice President
Mrs. Belli joined the bank in a management training position in 2006 and is currently the manager of the Deposit Operations department. She has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry and is a graduate of Morris College, Reno, Nevada. Mrs. Belli currently resides with her husband in Scotia.

Mrs. Medici has been part of the 1st National team for 9 years and is currently an officer in the Human Resources Department. She is responsible for managing all facets of employee benefits and payroll. In addition, she handles external marketing of the bank’s Health Savings Accounts.
Prior to joining 1st National Bank of Scotia, Mrs. Medici was employed at Charter One Bank and has over 35 years of experience in the financial industry. Mrs. Medici currently resides with her husband in Clifton Park.

March 1, 2010 - Cheryl F. Hiller -Assistant Vice President

Ms. Hiller has been part of the 1st National team for 5 years, and currently serves as Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator. In her current position, she is responsible for providing administrative support to the President and coordinates projects and the introduction of new products, for the bank.
Prior to joining 1st National Bank of Scotia, Ms. Hiller was with Schenectady Economic Development Corporation for 20 years. She currently resides with her two sons in Glenville.

February 5, 2010 - Sean D. Loughlin - Branch Operations Officer

Mr. Loughlin has been part of the 1st National team for 3 years, and currently serves as the Branch Operations Officer for the Scotia Office. He began his career as a teller and later gained valuable experience through the banks Management Training Program working in both the retail and operation areas of the bank. In his new position, Mr. Loughlin looks forward to “establishing new business relationships and providing my staff with guidance to help them grow and move forward in the banking industry.”
Mr. Loughlin enjoys working at 1st National Bank of Scotia because “it is a bank that knows the true meaning of community. Not only do we lend to the community, but we participate in community functions and events.”
In addition to his business commitments, Mr. Loughlin plans to join the efforts of the Scotia Business Improvement District. He currently resides in Saratoga County.
February 5, 2010 - Teresa A. Freeman - Vice President

Mrs. Freeman has been a part of the 1st National team for 22 years, most recently serving as a Regional Manager. She began her career at the bank as a teller and has worked her way through the Retail Banking department serving as a Head Teller, Customer Service Representative, Assistant Manager and Branch Operations Officer. In her new position, Mrs. Freeman hopes to “utilize my experiences in customer relations to further develop deposit relationships for the bank and help each branch exceed their goals”
Mrs. Freeman is responsible for developing new deposit and loan business for the eastern area offices of 1st National. She is in charge of four offices of the bank, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently. Mrs. Freeman enjoys working at 1st National because the bank offers a unique experience to our customers, “we are dedicated to personalized customer service, allowing us to stand out from other community banks.”
In addition to her business commitments, Mrs. Freeman is also an active member in the Schenectady, Guilderland and Albany-Colonie Chambers, the Albany County and Guilderland Women in Business groups, the Guilderland and Schenectady Leads Groups and serves as President of the Rotterdam Business Association. Mrs. Freeman currently resides in Altamont with her husband.
February 5, 2010 - Christopher R. Hebbard - Vice President

Mr. Hebbard has been a part of the 1st National team for 12 years, most recently serving as a Commercial Lender. Over the years he has gained experience in “listening to customer needs, understanding how their businesses operate and to help set their course for success. As Vice President, Mr. Hebbard will assist customers in all aspects of lending, from the preparation of loan applications to servicing ongoing relationships and business development.
In his new position, Mr. Hebbard hopes to continue to “grow a strong commercial portfolio that meets the needs of the community and to look at each transaction as though it is my own investment.”
In addition to his business commitments, Mr. Hebbard is presently an active member of the Schenectady Day Nursery. In his free time, he enjoys sports and spending time with family. Mr. Hebbard currently resides in Glenville.

Mrs. Lindsay has been part of the 1st National team for 18 years, and currently serves as Branch Operations Officer of the Glenville Office. She began her career as a teller and has worked her way through the Retail Banking department serving as teller supervisor, customer service associate and Branch Operations Specialist. In her new position, Mrs. Lindsay hopes to continue to “encourage and support the growth and success of customers, employees and the community by providing personalized customer service.”
In addition to her business commitments, Mrs. Lindsay is a member of the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Business Professional Association and is a board member and Treasurer of the Capital Region Maritime Center. In 2002 she received the Betty Long Outstanding Member Award for continuing education from the American Institute of Banking. Mrs. Lindsay currently resides in Scotia with her husband Dave and their children.
