- Branch Availability
All branch lobbies and drive thru windows are open to our customers during regular business hours.
An appointment will no longer be required but is available if you prefer.
We are implementing the following protocols and thank you in advance for your cooperation:
- Our lobbies will follow social distancing guidelines.
- Face coverings are required. We may ask you to briefly lower your face covering for identification purposes.
- Plexiglas barriers have been installed at the teller windows and customer service desks.
- Other safety measures include hand sanitizer stations and increased office cleaning.
- Digital Banking Tools
We encourage you to continue to use our digital tools that allow you to access your accounts without having to make a trip to the bank.
Online & Mobile Banking
Online Banking and the 1st Scotia Mobile Banking app allow you to view transactions, check balances, pay bills and make transfers. Additionally, Mobile Banking offers the opportunity to make a deposit.

Visit your app store to download the 1st Scotia Mobile app. You must enroll in online banking first.
Make a one-time payment on your 1st National Bank of Scotia loan through our e-Loan Pay site. Payments accepted as a direct ACH from your checking account. There is no fee to use this service.
Mobile Wallet offers you the option to store your debit or credit card information on your mobile device and pay with your phone at participating merchants. Your 1st National cards can be used with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay.

To assist you with staying up to date on the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), we want to take this opportunity to direct you to the official guidance from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
In order to maximize your loan forgiveness, it is important that you regularly review these links in detail because new guidance is continually being issued.
We understand that this program is complex and the constantly changing program rules are challenging. If you have questions about the legal or tax consequences of the program, please contact your attorney or accountant.
Our role as the intermediary for this valuable program unfortunately means that the Bank can only provide access to the program rules. We cannot offer advice or interpretation of those rules.

Watch For Fraud Attempts
Criminals often increase their efforts to take advantage of the uncertainty people are feeling. Fraudsters look for ways to gain trust and information they can use to obtain access to your personal or banking information, often through suspicious calls or emails. If we legitimately reach out to you via phone, email or written correspondence, we will never ask you to provide or verify your full social security number or account number, passwords or security questions. When in doubt, please call us.
Debit & Credit Card Use
- We recommend using your debit and credit cards during this time because they don’t change hands like cash.
- If you choose to clean your cards, please use a damp cotton cloth with non-abrasive soap and then dry the card thoroughly with a cotton towel.
